A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced plant operator to join our established and successful company, within the South and South West.

Position Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, to join our established training school and work within the existing team of trainers and testers, to undertake training for CPCS and NPORS Plant tickets, and carry out Level 2 NVQs in Plant Operations. Whilst experience in this role would be highly desirable, we will provide initial and ongoing training and support for any candidate, with the right qualities, looking to progress as a qualified trainer and tester.

Key Duties;

• Undertaking practical and theory training and testing for a variety of plant categories. For example – Exc 360, Forward Tipping Dumper, Ride on Roller, Articulated Dump Truck etc
• Provide feedback to candidates in a constructive and supportive manner.
• Complete documentation to record a candidate’s progress.
• Plan and organise work with individuals and team members
• Site visits

Experience Required:

Individuals must have a minimum of five years’ experience in operating a variety of mobile plant and equipment within the construction industry. It would also be advantageous to have knowledge of the CPCS card scheme, but this is not essential. The right candidate would be able to communicate with people in a clear way, and have an aptitude for learning new processes and procedures. UK driving license required.
