Continuous Professional Development (CPD) isn’t just for the people that come to our training site. We also like to make sure our team have opportunities for learning.
When Pauline Derrick, Training Manager, was offered the opportunity to attend an online CITB course – ‘Managing and Operational Improvements’ – she signed up for the monthly zoom calls with an approved trainer. The women-only course wasn’t just a great opportunity to network and meet like-minded women in the construction industry; it also led to a SQA qualification upon passing all the coursework elements which were set as homework tasks.
