GPS throughout our work.

Posted by Freddie Lines on 3 November 2017

An increasingly popular tool in the plant industry today is the use of GPS. These systems are put in place to make work as precise as possible.

We run our GPS fleet from 1 of 5 GPS base stations on a site. Depending on obstacles such as buildings or the shear size of a site, we have 4 repeaters to use. These boost the signal from a base station.

We currently have 11 CAT dozers fitted with GPS including, D6K, D6N and D6TsĀ

7 Excavators including: 2 Volvo EC300s, 2 Volvo EC220s, Hitachi ZX210, Hitachi ZX300 and a Hitachi ZX400
